Vietnam's economy is likely to grow between 5.6 percent and 5.7 percent this year, slightly below the government's target of 5.8 percent, the country's National Financial Supervisory Committee said in a report on Monday, the Viet Nam News newspaper reports.

The Southeast Asian nation viajes indochina may see extended growth later this year, driven by improved production and stronger exports despite weak demand, the report said.
